Today Is The First Day Of The What ?

I know you have heard the saying "today is the first day of the rest of your life"
It sounds good but in reality what does it really mean. Yesterday I was fired from a cable company for lack of sales. No warning , in fact I had contacted one of my peers who had more experience with door to door selling for a little advice and shadowing to prepare for another day going door to door.
She had agreed to go out with me and I felt great. She does very well in sales and has done door to door sales for a few years. I did not have experience in door to door sales however I did need to make money for needed income. You know things like rent, groceries, utility bills etc. ah-h-h all the little necessities in life.
Well on yesterday I went in to work and was asked for my badge no prior warning just that the new boss had received from corporate I was fired. I reluctantly gave the badge to the boss thinking as I left what now ? How will I pay my bills ? So I decided to browse through the internet and discovered a opportunity for Internet Marketing.
The company I decided to go with claims this is a recession proof way to go. I'm excited and will keep you posted (anyone who reads this blog).
